April Pocket Planner

The saying goes "April showers bring May flowers" and it just so happens that on this April 1st, the rain is coming down. I hope that means that May will blossom. To get the most out of April and May, we're going to need a plan and this month's planner might come in handy.

This month's theme pays tribute to creativity and the the courage that is required to not just make something new but to present it to the world. The image was inspired by quotes from Henri Matisse: "Creativity take courage" and Georgia O'Keeffe: " To create one's world in any of the arts takes courage."

As much as I enjoy making new things and as long as I have been doing it, the challenge for me remains feeling confident and brave enough to share it with the world. As artists, we know that the way we see the world and how we present it in our art can affect positive change. The best way to see that change is to have the courage to share our creations with the world.
